FOOD AND CRAFTS

VENDORS FROM ALL OVER WILL HAVE THEIR FOOD SPECIALTIES AVAILABLE, RANGING FROM SANDWICHES TO FULL MEALS. MANY FEATURE BLACKBERRIES AS A MAIN INGREDIENT. LOTS AND LOTS OF BLACKBERRY DESSERTS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ENJOY ON SITE OR TAKE HOME.

HANDMADE CRAFTS WILL BE DISPLAYED BY THE TALENTED ARTISANS WHO CREATED THEM

OTHERS WILL BE SELLING UNIQUE ITEMS SUCH AS NASCAR ITEMS AND GIFTS FOR ALL AGES

5-K Run 
A 5-K run will be held Saturday morning, at 8:30 AM

Pet Parade
The pet parade, held annually during the Festival,has become a favorite event. Pets (many dressed in costume) are paraded thru the Festival grounds. Prizes are awarded in many categories. The pet parade starts Friday at 6:15 PM.
You may register until 5:30 PM Friday, July 31.

Car Cruise
Classic and collector cars will participate in a parade on Friday, July 31 at 6 PM from the Davis Funeral Home parking lot (register at 5:00) on Route 98 to the festival grounds and be on display at the park for judging.

Blackberry Pie and Cobbler Baking Contest
A blackberry pie and cobbler contest will be held on Saturday, August 1. Judging will begin at 2:00 PM. Prizes and plaques will be awarded.

Sponsored by Affiliated Physical Services on Cherry Tree drive in Nutter Fort 

Talent Contest
Saturday will be highlighted by a talent contest at 12 PM. Contestant's will divided into age groups and perform on stage for awards. Come cheer your favorite on.

Fireworks
One of the areas largest display of fireworks will close out the 2009 WV Blackberry Festival, Saturday at 11:00 PM

 

CARNIVAL AND GAMES 

Gambill Amusements be present with rides for kids (and adults) of all ages.

Cartoon Headquarters will also have games on site for the children.
